Mandatory Recount Lottery to Be Held at All 10 Electoral Districts in Yerevan

Today, on September 19, at 11:00 AM, a mandatory recount lottery will take place in all 10 electoral district commissions in Yerevan. This was announced by the Central Electoral Commission (CEC).

“We remind you that the sessions of the electoral district commissions are broadcasted on the CEC website. At the same time, during the same session, the electoral district commissions will address the recount procedures. According to Article 50, Section 1.1 of the Electoral Code, a mandatory lottery will take place for the results of at least three polling stations in all electoral districts.

According to Article 50 of the Electoral Code, the work of the recount will begin today, September 19, at 14:00 and will conclude on September 22 at 14:00,” the announcement states.

It is noted that each party may have one authorized representative and candidate present during the recount work, as well as representatives from observation missions and the media. The recount work will also be broadcast on the CEC website.
