EU Observation Mission Headquarters Relocated to Yeghnaghor
This week, the EU observation mission in Armenia has moved to its permanent base in Yeghnaghor. This was stated on the microblog of the EU observation mission in Armenia.
“According to the operational plan, the headquarters of the European Union observation mission is located in Yeghnaghor, with operational bases in Jermuk, Goris, Kapan, Martuni, Ijevan, and Yeghnaghor, while the communication and support office is in Yerevan,” the publication states.
It should be recalled that at the end of January, the European Union approved the establishment of a civilian mission in Armenia, which, according to official Brussels, “will contribute to stabilizing the border areas, strengthening confidence, and regulating relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.”
