Temporarily Unidirectional Closure on the Parakar-Ejmiadzin Road Segment

The Armenian Police informs that on September 23, 2023, at 1:00 PM, a "Cup of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia" amateur road race will simultaneously kick off for both adults and schoolchildren along the Parakar-Ejmiadzin highway in the Armavir region.

The adult race will start from the front of the Parakar community center, heading towards Ejmiadzin city at the "Zvartnots" Airport intersection for a distance of 10 km, while the schoolchildren's race will begin from the territory of the "Zvartnots Historical-Cultural Reserve-Museum" and will also end at the "Komitas square" in Ejmiadzin city (4 km).

On the same day, from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM, the Parakar-Ejmiadzin road segment will be unidirectionally closed (traffic will be organized in one direction only). Furthermore, traffic on Mashtots Street in Ejmiadzin city will be halted in both directions from the start until the event's conclusion. All entrances to the "Komitas square" in Ejmiadzin will also be closed to vehicles during the event.
