«This is my neighborhood, I can do what I want»․ The local authority directs voters
At polling stations 9/56 and 9/57, located in the territory of the Hydroponics Institute, voters are being directed to vote in favor of the Civil Contract Party. This was reported by the Telegram channel 'Independent Observer'.
“Specifically, there is a 'besedka' located 50-60 meters from the polling stations, where local authority Eduard Tonoyan is conducting activities. Interestingly, his daughter Shushan Tonoyan, who is a trusted person for the Civil Contract Party, is also assisting him,” the channel noted. It added that when the representatives of 'Independent Observer', Daniel Ioannisyan and Arthur Sakunts, arrived at the polling station, a dispute occurred during which Eduard Tonoyan stated, 'This is my neighborhood, I can do what I want.'
It should be noted that today, on September 17, as of 08:00 AM, 475 polling places have been opened across all 10 electoral districts established in Yerevan. Voting will conclude at 20:00, after which the counting of votes will commence.
