My Father Has Died, but His Name Is on the List, Says Citizen

A citizen reported to NEWS.am that he discovered his deceased father's name on the electoral list at polling station 8/01. This incident marks the second time he has encountered such an issue.

He recounted, “I came in the previous elections, and it was the same problem. They told me to ignore it. The next day, I went to the passport department, but evidently, it didn’t help at all. I was taken aback by this incident. I came here demanding justice in my community. I told them to let me revoke my father’s name so I could proceed, but they did not allow me. I am upset; I have acted invalidly with my ballot as there was no justice.”

The head of the polling station, Tereza Karapetyan, communicated with the media, stating that out of 1762 voters, only 350 participated. “Voter turnout is low. There have been no violations. We have been working normally since morning, without any obstacles.”
