Foreign National Complains About Inability to Read Armenian Ballot

A call has been raised by foreign nationals who do not speak Armenian. The information regarding the complaints received by the Situational Analysis Center of the commission was presented by Central Electoral Commission member Zhiraire Karapetyan.

The complaint is that the ballot is printed in Armenian and, although they have the right to vote, they cannot read Armenian and familiarize themselves with the ballot.

The CEC has instructed the electoral commissions to sequentially read out the names of all political parties and one alliance for voters who do not speak Armenian, as well as the names of the candidates in the first three positions on the ballots.

Foreign citizens have been advised to remember the number, and when selecting a ballot, to follow the number and place the corresponding numbered ballot in the envelope.
