Dozens of Armed Individuals Seize Oil Company in Irkutsk Region by Helicopters
Dozens of armed individuals have seized an oil company in the Irkutsk region using helicopters. According to SHOT, the incident occurred in the Kirensk district, specifically at the premises of the 'Dulisma' enterprise. In early September, more than 20 masked and armed militants arrived at the site. Some employees were forced to lie on the ground, while others were made to stand facing a wall. The assailants took control of all the company's documents and effectively became the new managers.
A spokesperson from the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that the 'Dulisma' company is embroiled in a legal dispute between two owners, who have been unable to come to an agreement regarding its ownership. Police revealed that a court ruling had taken place, for which special forces were mobilized. However, eyewitnesses insist that paratroopers arrived by helicopter.
According to employees, they were directed by the acting manager, who is presumably now representing the interests of another owner. The name of the 'Dulisma' enterprise is associated with Alexey Khotin, a former owner of the 'Yugra' bank, who is currently under investigation.
