Terrorists Arrested in Iran

Iranian security forces have arrested several terrorists who planned to open fire on people during an illegal rally in Saqez, located in western Kurdistan province of Iran, as reported by Tasnim.

According to Tasnim, the members of the terrorist group had come from Iraqi Kurdistan to launch an attack during the illegal rally that took place on Friday in Saqez.

Iranian security forces thwarted the conspiracy, arresting four terrorists and seizing various types of weapons and equipment, including AK-47 rifles, handguns, hunting shotguns, two complete sets of Iranian Armed Forces uniforms, and a number of cold weapons.

The discovery of the armed equipment linked to the Iranian Armed Forces indicates that the terrorists had planned to carry out a conspiracy to shoot at people and blame Iranian law enforcement for the crime.

The arrested individuals are currently being interrogated.
