Leonid Kalashnikov Speaks on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's Statements: 'He Exhibits Resentment'

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has exhibited some of the worst traits that have previously 'resided' within him, one of which is resentment. This opinion was expressed by Leonid Kalashnikov, the head of the State Duma's Committee on the CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration, and Relations with Compatriots, during a broadcast on nsn.fm.

“After the provocation of American military exercises, Pashinyan seems to have taken it upon himself to say something disgusting every day. He has manifested everything that was previously 'sitting' inside him. I met him when he was running through the streets of Yerevan, and his movement was called 'Exit.' Exit from the CSTO, exit from all structures... At that time, when he was not yet Prime Minister, I asked him if he truly wanted to leave the CSTO and the Eurasian Economic Union. He answered me, 'No, I do not want to.' He said 'no' not only to me but publicly declared this as well. Well, let’s see,” Kalashnikov stated.

In his view, Pashinyan should not be guided by feelings of resentment, which have remained within him. According to Kalashnikov, Pashinyan lost his composure after Putin's speech at the Eastern Economic Forum. It is worth noting that the day before, Nikol Pashinyan stated that Russian peacekeepers had been unable to fulfill the tasks set before them in Nagorno-Karabakh.
