Video: Pashinyan Discusses Observing Numerous Georgian-Plated Cars in Yerevan
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the issue of Georgian-plated vehicles operating in Armenia in response to a question from Shirak Torosyan, a member of the ruling Civil Contract faction.
He noted that the issue is not the presence of cars with Georgian license plates, but rather the failure to fulfill tax obligations towards Armenia. “It is unacceptable to fail to meet tax and customs obligations toward the country for any reason,” he stated.
According to the Prime Minister, he sees no compromise when it comes to fulfilling tax obligations. “If we are going to make compromises, it means we will continuously make compromises and say that we are not a state. I do not agree with that stance,” he emphasized.
