“Putin said there are no problems in relations with Armenia and personally with me,” Prime Minister

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced during a Q&A session with the government in the National Assembly that the Armenia-Russia relations are guided solely by the statements of the President of the Russian Federation.

“President Vladimir Putin stated that there are no problems in the relations between Armenia and myself personally,” the Prime Minister noted.

Pashinyan also emphasized that he has had 7-8 phone conversations with the President of Russia after the blockade of the Lachin corridor. According to him, such a number of conversations have either not occurred or have been significantly fewer with the leaders of other countries.

This was in response to a question from “Armenia” faction MP Agnesa Khamoyan, who asked why the last phone call with Putin took place in early July, despite many changes in the region since then, including the accumulation of Azerbaijani forces and equipment at the Armenian border.

According to Pashinyan, the Russian leader is very well aware of everything, including the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, as he can obtain information firsthand from the Russian peacekeeping troops.
