Photo Report: Car Accident on the Bavra–Gyumri Road Results in Fatality
On September 12, at 23:34, the crisis management center of the Shirak regional rescue service received a call reporting that near the village of Tsoghamarg, in an area known as 'Khoti Spring,' a vehicle had gone off the road and overturned. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.
A firefighting and rescue team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that at the 22nd kilometer of the Bavra-Gyumri road, a 'GAZ' gasoline truck (driver: Z. M., born in 1982) had veered off the roadway and, rolling approximately 30 meters, came to rest in a field area. The driver’s body was found about 50 meters away from the vehicle, and no fuel leak was observed.
Rescuers cordoned off the area and secured lighting.
