Azerbaijani Side Fired Toward Syunik Airport Overnight: Reports

On September 2, a criminal case has been initiated by the Syunik regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia on the grounds of an attempted murder. According to Shamshyan.com, on that day around 3:00 AM, shots were fired toward the "Syunik" airport from the Azerbaijani-controlled area known as "Aghkyand."

"Three shots were fired, two of which hit the exterior walls of the airport's arrivals hall and the controller's room, penetrating inside and damaging property," the website reports.

According to the report, there were no casualties as a result of the gunfire.
