Car Accident in Lori Province: Husband Dies on the Spot, Wife Hospitalized

Today, on September 13, a tragic incident occurred in Lori Province. Around 11:30 AM, 63-year-old Artashes M. lost control of his Opel vehicle while driving on the M6 interstate highway at the 39 km mark and crashed into a concrete roadside barrier. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.

As a result of the accident, Artashes M. died at the scene, while his passenger, 63-year-old Salvi A., was taken to the Alaverdi Medical Center with bodily injuries.

A criminal case has been initiated in the Tumanyan Investigative Department regarding the incident. According to G. Shamshyan's information, the deceased and the injured were married, and preliminary reports indicate that the driver may have died suddenly while driving.
