VIDEO: Ural Airlines Plane Makes Emergency Landing Near Kamenska
The Ural Airlines A320 has made an emergency landing near the settlement of Kamenska, located 180 kilometers from Novosibirsk. Search and rescue aircraft, including rescue teams from Rosaviatsiya, were dispatched to the scene of the incident.
The pilots decided to transport the aircraft to Novosibirsk. However, they ran out of fuel on the way, forcing the plane to make a rapid landing in a field. The Ural Airlines aircraft was on a flight route from Sochi to Omsk, carrying 170 people, including 23 children. Communication with the crew was established, and all passengers were evacuated and accommodated in a nearby settlement.
According to Rosaviatsiya, preliminary information indicates that no one has sought medical assistance. The interim governor of Omsk region, Vitaly Khotsenko, reported that the initial cause of the emergency landing is a malfunction in the hydraulic system.
A commission has been formed to investigate the causes and circumstances related to the serious aviation accident involving the Ural Airlines aircraft.
