Spanish Football Federation Confirms Luis Rubiales Resignation

The Spanish Football Federation has confirmed that Rubiales, who held the position of president of the organization, has resigned. This information was reported by Pedro Rocha (acting president of RFEF).

“In addition, Rubiales has also resigned from his position as UEFA vice-president,” the RFEF statement said.

It is noteworthy that Rubiales faced criticism for kissing Spain's national team player Jennifer Hermoso after the conclusion of the Women’s World Cup final, in which Spain defeated England (1-0). FIFA has suspended him from football activities for 90 days.
