Construction of a New Football Stadium is a Priority for the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports

The issue of constructing a new football stadium in Armenia is a daily concern for the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports. This was stated by Deputy Minister Karen Giloyan during a session of the National Assembly, responding to a proposal made by Civil Contract party member Sisak Gabrielyan.

“Let’s think about having a football stadium with at least 30,000 seats as soon as possible,” said Gabrielyan.

In response to this proposal, Giloyan noted that the matter is a priority for the ministry. “In light of the inspiring performances of the national team, there is such demand that I can assure you that half of the population is upset with me because I cannot provide them with tickets. I hope that yes, we will have such a stadium, and new glorious victories will be recorded there,” Giloyan concluded.
