Opening Ceremony of Armenia-U.S. Joint Military Exercises Held

The "Eagle Partner – 2023" joint military exercises between Armenia and the United States have commenced in Yerevan. This was reported by AFP.

"Today, the opening ceremony for the ‘Eagle Partner – 2023’ joint military exercises between Armenia and the United States took place," a representative of the U.S. Army in Europe and Africa told AFP.

Earlier, it was announced that the Armenia-U.S. joint exercises would begin today. According to the Armenian Ministry of Defense, the purpose of the exercises is to enhance the interoperability of units participating in international peacekeeping missions within the scope of peacekeeping operations, exchange best practices in management and tactical communication, and improve the readiness of the Armenian unit for NATO/Partnership for Peace Operational Capability Concept planning assessments.
