Ukraine Threatens Reuters News Agency

Ukraine has threatened to initiate an official investigation against Reuters for capturing footage of a drone attack on Kyiv.

The spokesperson for the country's armed forces, Yuri Ignat, expressed outrage over the agency's publication, which shows the operation of the air defense system. The footage was shared from the night of September 10.

One of the images depicts a missile being launched from the vicinity of a high-rise building towards the drone. In contrast, a powerful explosion is seen as the drone crashes.

It is worth noting that Kyiv has previously expressed dissatisfaction with Western journalists. Mikhail Podolyak, an advisor to the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, labeled their statements as "absurd," while the country’s general staff has completely banned their access to the combat zone.
