Humanitarian Aid Has Not Yet Reached Artsakh Due to Azerbaijani Conditions, Beglaryan
According to my information, humanitarian aid from the Russian Red Cross has not yet reached Artsakh due to additional obstacles and conditions that have not been previously agreed upon by Azerbaijan. Currently, Russian aid is blocked in Azerbaijan. This statement was made by former adviser to the President of Artsakh, Artak Beglaryan.
“The Artsakh side has accepted Russia's proposal to ensure the accessibility of humanitarian aid through Azerbaijani territory, provided that the International Committee of the Red Cross and Russian peacekeepers open the Lachin corridor for humanitarian supplies. The Russian Red Cross is trying to deliver Russian-made goods through Russian vehicles. However, Azerbaijan has consistently blocked all initiatives at the last minute, repeatedly trying to raise its negotiation threshold and prolonging the process while maintaining pressure on the Artsakh side and continuing the genocide,” he noted.
“It is crucial that all international actors publicly acknowledge the destructive behavior of the Azerbaijani side and move from ordinary words to exerting practical pressure on them. The usual approach of negotiations and mediation with genocidal regimes amounts to complicity,” added Artak Beglaryan.
P.S. I remind you that I am no longer an official, and my statements are unofficial and expert opinions,” he stated.
