Death Toll from Earthquake in Morocco Exceeds 1,300; Over 1,800 Injured

It is noteworthy that the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported that a 6.9 magnitude earthquake occurred on September 9 at 02:11 Yerevan time, located 80 km from Marrakech. According to the Moroccan National Institute of Geophysics, the earthquake's intensity was measured at 7 on the Richter scale.
