Accident on Goris–Sisian Road Leaves One Injured

The Emergency Service of the Republic of Armenia informs that an accident occurred on the Goris-Sisian highway, resulting in one injury.

“On September 9, at 16:09, the Crisis Management Center of the Syunik regional rescue service received a call regarding a traffic accident near the intersection of the village of Shinhuyr. A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Internal Affairs' regional rescue service was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that at the 9th kilometer of the Goris-Sisian road, vehicles "Mercedes-Benz" (driver: L. M.) and "VAZ" (driver: H. S., born 1949) collided.

Before the ambulances arrived at the scene, the injured person H. S. was hospitalized at a medical center, where doctors assessed his condition as satisfactory. Rescuers also disconnected the vehicles from the power supply and closed the gas tank valves,” the statement said.
