After a Week Without Bread, We Bought Some. It's Corn Bread, the Important Thing is It's Not Made from Akna Flour”, Says Artsakh Resident
Artsakh resident Anna Mangasaryan posted a picture of two loaves of bread on her Facebook page along with a note: “After a week without bread, we bought some. It’s made from corn flour, but it's very tasty. We’re not complaining; the important thing is that it’s not made from Akna flour,” she stated.
It’s important to recall that since December 12, 2022, Azerbaijan has closed the road from Armenia to Artsakh. Starting today, bread will be sold in the city of Stepanakert by vouchers. Half a loaf (approximately 200 grams) will be sold per person. It should be noted that Artsakh residents have blocked the Askeran-Akna road and are not accepting flour sent from Azerbaijan as “humanitarian aid.”
