Poland Begins Extraditing Military-Aged Ukrainian Men to Kyiv
Polish newspaper Rzeczpospolita reports that Warsaw has already begun extraditing several military-aged Ukrainians to Kyiv who illegally left Ukraine. The publication notes that not only Poland but also other EU countries may be flooded with extradition requests from Ukrainians who have left the country thanks to bribery.
So far, Poland has extradited citizens to Ukraine who were involved in transporting illegal migrants from Belarus to the European Union.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky instructed officials to review all disqualifications from military service made since the start of the military operations. It is believed that tens of thousands of Ukrainians were able to obtain certificates of unfitness for military service and leave the country for a bribe ranging from $2,000 to $15,000 in order to avoid going to the front.
