Helen's Uncle Visits Goris Morgue with Flowers to Celebrate Her 21st Birthday

Journalist Tigran Hovsepyan wrote on his Facebook page: "Helen's uncle came to the Goris morgue with flowers to celebrate her 21st birthday. The family is in besieged Artsakh, while Helen is here in Goris. For already 20 days, Azerbaijan has been obstructing the transfer of the girl’s body to her homeland in Jartar, demanding that Azerbaijani place names be written in the documents.

The uncle recounts that Helen spoke with her mother, who is under siege, every day and tried to encourage her, saying, 'Mom, everything is going to be okay...' Her mother's eyes are on the road."

It is noteworthy that on the night of August 14, a tragic car accident occurred near the village of Lanjik on the Yerevan-Gyumri highway. A passenger microbus branded "Volkswagen" collided with a truck branded "ZIL." Eleven citizens died, including the driver of the microbus, and six were seriously injured.
