US Still Trying to Determine Circumstances of Prigozhin's Death

The United States is still seeking to clarify all the circumstances surrounding the death of Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the Wagner Group. This information was conveyed by Bet Van Shak, the U.S. Special Representative, who oversees the U.S. State Department, as reported by TASS.

“We are still trying to understand exactly what happened. Apparently, there was some kind of explosive device on the plane, which led to its crash,” Van Shak stated.

She emphasized that the U.S. continues to regard Wagner as an “extremely dangerous” organization, even though it is now “without a leader.”

It is worth recalling that on August 27, the Russian Investigative Committee completed molecular genetic investigations following the plane crash in the Tver region. The identities of all the deceased have been established, and they correspond to the announced list, which includes Yevgeny Prigozhin.
