Azerbaijanis Kidnap Student from Artsakh

The Azerbaijani side has kidnapped Allen Nelson Sarkisyan, a student born in 2001, at an illegal checkpoint in the Lachin corridor while he was traveling from Artsakh to Armenia under the escort of Russian peacekeepers. This information has been reported by the Artsakh Information Headquarters.

“There is currently no reliable information regarding the reasons for the kidnapping. Allen Sarkisyan is a student who was heading to Yerevan to continue his studies. Azerbaijan continues its genocidal policies against the people of Artsakh, once again violating the norms of international humanitarian law. Further details about the incident will be provided later,” the statement reads.

It is worth reminding that earlier reports indicated that Azerbaijanis had kidnapped a resident of Artsakh at the illegal checkpoint in the Lachin corridor.
