Two Versions Are Stated: Artsakh Ombudsman on the Abduction of a 22-Year-Old

I have spoken with eyewitnesses, and they present two versions. This was reported to ‘Hraparak’ by Gegham Stepanyan, the Human Rights Defender of Artsakh.

“I am speaking with eyewitnesses; some insist that the young man was told he was on a wanted list, while others claim that a verbal altercation took place. I cannot say anything more; I am currently working in that direction,” noted the Artsakh Ombudsman.

It was previously reported that the Azerbaijani side had abducted a young man, Alen Nelsoni Sarkisyan, born in 2001, at an illegal checkpoint in the Lachin corridor while he was traveling from Artsakh to Armenia with Russian peacekeepers.
