Rabid Dog Bites Four Children Aged 3-11 in Yeghegnadzor, Ministry of Internal Affairs Reports

A rabid dog has bitten four children aged between 3 and 11 in Yeghegnadzor, leading to their transfer to the Yeghegnadzor Medical Center and subsequently to one of Yerevan's hospitals. This information was reported by the rescue service of the Republic of Armenia's Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the statement, the injured children are as follows: G.V., born in 2013, S.T., born in 2012, H.A., born in 2020, and V.V., born in 2018. Their health conditions have been assessed as satisfactory at the medical facility, and after receiving first aid, they were transferred to Yerevan.

The firefighters and rescuers located the rabid dog, euthanized it, and then handed it over to the relevant authorities. The search for the dog involved officers from the Vayots Dzor regional police department, headed by the department chief, as well as employees from the regional administration, led by the governor.
