Soldiers Again Clash Over Sleeping in Combat Positions, Leading to Escalation: 'Zhoghovurd'
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia is expecting discharges in the army corps of the Syunik province. It turns out that the question of sleeping in positions has become particularly serious in the Armenian army recently, often resulting in fatal outcomes for soldiers.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Defense reported that two servicemen, Artyom Haikazyan and Armen Khachatryan, from military unit N, sustained gunshot wounds under still unclear circumstances on August 27.
According to exclusive information received by the 'Zhoghovurd' newspaper, the soldiers again argued about the topic of sleeping in combat positions, leading to a heated fight in which they shot at each other; doctors were unable to save them.
It should be noted that in the case concerning the deceased soldier Zhora Karapetyan from August 10, there are already two individuals arrested. According to investigation data, the soldier was driven to a state where he committed suicide due to, once again, sleeping in a combat position.
