Two Fatalities Reported Due to Explosion: Ministry of Defense Statement

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia has just issued a statement regarding the tragic incident that occurred on September 2, around 17:30. During engineering works involving excavation for road construction, an explosion took place, resulting in the deaths of Major Arman Rubiki Babajanyan and soldier Arthur Hayki Poghosyan from the Ministry of Defense's military unit.

In order to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident, an investigation is underway.
