On August 29, a consultation was held under the leadership of Armenia's Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan regarding the state of discipline in the Armed Forces and existing problematic issues, according to the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

Opening the meeting, the head of the defense department emphasized that the issues being discussed are extremely important for enhancing and strengthening the level of discipline in the armed forces.
