Soldiers Poisoned in Military Unit: What is Known

According to "Hraparak," on August 24, ten soldiers were poisoned in one of the military units in the Vardenis community of Gegharkunik province.

The father of one of the soldiers told the news outlet that the ten soldiers were poisoned, initially suspected to be due to food.

The news outlet contacted Defense Ministry spokesperson Aram Torosyan to understand the cause of the soldiers' poisoning. Torosyan told us that they had registered only one incident, with a soldier admitted to the hospital due to gastrointestinal issues and has already been discharged.

We also tried to find out which company supplied food to the military unit, but Aram Torosyan stated that he could only provide a written response to that question.
