French President to Hold Talks This Week with Pashinyan and Aliyev
French President Emmanuel Macron has announced that he will conduct talks with the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan this week and will present a new diplomatic initiative for the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
“This week I will be in discussions with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. We will demand the full implementation of the agreements regarding the Lachin humanitarian corridor, as well as present a new diplomatic initiative on the international stage to strengthen pressure on Azerbaijan,” the president stated during his speech at the annual ambassadors' conference.
It is worth noting that the broadcast was conducted via the official page of the Élysée Palace on X (formerly Twitter).
