Stop Azerbaijani Aggression: Protest in Los Angeles in Support of Artsakh
Representatives of the Armenian community held a protest in front of the Azerbaijani consulate in Los Angeles against the political actions towards Artsakh. The information was reported by Alpha News.
The protest began with a blessing from spiritual leaders and the playing of the Armenian national anthem.
Following the protest, a march took place where participants called for the organization of air transport to deliver goods to the residents of Artsakh. The marchers held banners with messages such as "120,000 people are under siege", "Stop the second Armenian genocide", "Stop Azerbaijani aggression", "I stand with Artsakh for the sake of Artsakh", and "Open Artsakh".
It’s worth recalling that on December 12, 2022, a group of Azerbaijanis in civilian clothes closed the Stepanakert-Goris highway connecting Artsakh to Armenia under the pretext of environmental reasons, from which they withdrew on April 28, as Azerbaijan established a checkpoint on the Lachin road on April 23, taking full control over it. Artsakh has also been deprived of gas and electricity supplied from Armenia.
On July 26, 19 trucks loaded with around 400 tons of essential goods departed from Yerevan to Artsakh, which has been under siege for more than 225 days. The trucks reached the Kornidzor community in Syunik and remain at the border of the Lachin corridor to this day.
