Citizen Involved in Altercation with Police Officers, Used Offensive Language
On August 26, an unusual incident occurred in Yerevan. According to Shamshyan.com, at approximately 21:05, patrol officers Davit Movsisyan and Lilit Grigoryan from the Patrol Service of the Police of the Republic of Armenia were on duty on Artsakh Avenue, near the area commonly known as the "Vstrechi Bridge." They noticed a man behaving violently and showing disrespect towards other citizens and the medical personnel from Yerevan's emergency services who had arrived on the scene.
The website reports that the officers urged the man to stop using offensive language and to refrain from committing illegal acts, but their requests were in vain. The individual was subsequently transported to the Erebuni Police Department in a patrol vehicle. According to G. Shamshyan's information, the detained individual is Narek Y.
