Putin and Erdogan to Meet Soon, Says Peskov

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan are set to meet soon. This was announced by Dmitry Peskov, Press Secretary of the Russian President.

“There is already an agreement, but primarily we coordinate announcements about such visits with our partner countries. We will inform you soon about the exact time and place of the meeting. Preparatory work is already underway, quite clearly,” Peskov said.

Earlier, Turkish sources reported that the meeting between Presidents Tayyip Erdogan and Vladimir Putin is scheduled to take place in Sochi, with September 4 being mentioned as a possible date.
