Video: We have presented a new proposal for a peace treaty to Azerbaijan, says Armenian Prime Minister
The Armenian side has transmitted new proposals for a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan to the Azerbaijani side. This was announced by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during today's government session.
"I want to emphasize the Republic of Armenia's commitment to the peace agenda. I must inform you that we have transmitted new proposals for a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan to the Azerbaijani side," said Pashinyan.
It should be noted that in 2021, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev declared his readiness to sign a peace treaty with Armenia. In March 2022, Baku presented its five-point proposal to Yerevan regarding the normalization of relations. The Armenian side made corrections and sent back its version. Since then, there have been several rounds of negotiations between the parties at various levels.
