VIDEO: Putin on Prigozhin's Death

Russian President Vladimir Putin has addressed the death of Yevgeny Prigozhin and the Wagner Group. In his remarks, he extended condolences to the businessman's family and friends.

“Initial data indicates that there were employees of the Wagner Group on the plane that crashed in the Tver region,” he stated.

He noted that the Wagner Group made a significant contribution in the fight against neo-Nazism in Ukraine, saying, “We will never forget.”

“I have known Prigozhin since the 1990s. He was a man with a complicated fate who achieved results. A talented businessman who worked outside of the Russian Federation,” Putin added.
