Video: Lavrov on the Death of Yevgeny Prigozhin

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has commented on the plane crash involving Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the Wagner Group, urging to focus on the facts rather than the reports from Western media. His remarks were made during the "Moscow. Kremlin. Putin" program, a segment of which was published on journalist Pavel Zarubin's Telegram channel.

"I have not followed what has been written, said, and shown, and it is very difficult for me to comment from here (Lavrov is still in South Africa, where he was participating in the BRICS summit). It is hard to provide any commentary; I would suggest focusing on the facts, rather than what has been said by Western media," the minister noted.

He added that an investigation has begun immediately, and experts are currently examining all circumstances.
