Photo: Truck Involved in Accident in Gegharkunik with Injuries

On August 21, at 23:42, the crisis management center of the Gegharkunik regional rescue service received information about a road accident in the village of Draxthik, with injuries reported and the need for rescue assistance.

A rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

It was found that a "Toyota" vehicle, driven by A.Z.-M., had collided with a "ZIL" truck, driven by A.A., born in 1968.

Before rescuers arrived, A.Z.-M. was extracted from the vehicle by local forces. The rescuers assisted the injured person, who was then transported by ambulance to a medical center where doctors assessed their condition as satisfactory.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicles from power and closed the valves on the gas cylinders.
