MQ-9 Reaper and TB2 Bayraktar Drones Observed over Black Sea: Russian Ministry of Defense

Two MQ-9 'Reaper' and TB2 'Bayraktar' drones have been registered flying over the Black Sea, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The Russian military agency reports that the drones were conducting reconnaissance over the Crimean Peninsula.

In order to prevent violations of Russia's state border, two fighter jets from air defense forces were scrambled, the defense agency added. Following that, the unmanned aerial vehicles changed their flight direction and exited the aerial reconnaissance zones.
