26 Migrant Bodies Found in Burning Forests of Greek Evros
In the Dadias forest located northeast of Alexandroupolis, Greece, the bodies of 26 deceased migrants have been discovered. Local media reports that there were no previous reports of missing residents, leading law enforcement to believe that they have uncovered the bodies of migrants.
It has been reported that the Dadias forest in the Evros region has been burning for three days. Earlier today, the Greek fire service announced the discovery of 18 bodies.
Residents of the Dadias region have been urgently evacuated. Investigations in the burning area are ongoing.
