Traffic Accident in Lori: Opel Crashes into Concrete Barrier and Overturns; Victim and Injured are Family Members

Today, on August 18, at around 20:10, an Opel Astra vehicle collided with a barrier and overturned in the administrative area of Shirakamut village along the Spitak-Gyumri highway in Lori province under still unknown circumstances, reports Shamshyan.com.

One person died at the scene, and three others, including two children, were taken to the Spitak Medical Center with injuries. It was noted that rescuers cut off the power to the vehicle and assisted one of the injured to an ambulance.

A criminal investigation has been initiated regarding the accident. Law enforcement agencies are identifying the deceased, the driver, and the injured parties. According to the media, all of them are family members and residents of Spitak, and the deceased is identified as 39-year-old A. S.
