Armenian Team Among Leaders in World U16 Chess Olympiad

The Armenian team is currently in third place after the 8th round of the World U16 Chess Olympiad taking place in Eindhoven, Netherlands.

Our chess players finished the previous two rounds with 2:2 results against the teams of China and Azerbaijan.

After the 8th round, the top three teams are as follows:

1. First place: Team China
2. Second place: Team Turkey
3. Third place: Team Armenia

There is one round left until the end of the Olympiad. Tomorrow, Armenia's opponent will be the first team from Kazakhstan.
