Who Did the NSS Appeal to Regarding 1 Ton of Heroin? ‘Joghourt’

In mysterious circumstances, the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia has sent letters to several European countries regarding the case of 1 ton of cocaine that recently appeared in the country, with specific questions posed. They are currently awaiting concrete responses. This was reported by the newspaper 'Joghourt.'

According to the publication, the NSS has sent specific inquiries to the law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Panama, the Republic of Italy, and the Republic of Georgia. The reason for targeting these countries' law enforcement is that the narcotics were imported into Armenia through goods ordered from a company located in Ecuador, passing through these transit countries.

It is noted that employees of a company owned by former MP Mihran Poghosyan remain in custody in connection with this case, one of whom is a woman.

Recall that the NSS had announced the initiation of public criminal prosecution against Mihran Poghosyan, the actual owner of 'Mrgeni' LLC, the company's director L.A., and warehouse keeper S.G. for illegally selling drugs, particularly 1 ton of cocaine, and for committing large-scale drug smuggling, according to relevant articles of the Criminal Code of Armenia. As a measure of restraint, detention has been selected for the accused, and a search notice has been issued for the former MP.
