Ministry of Agriculture Sounds Alarm: Dairy Processing Companies Have Ceased Operations

In Artsakh, due to the blockade and the resulting fuel deficit, it has been impossible to provide the necessary amount of feed, leading to a 40-50 percent decrease in the milk yield of large cattle.

This has had a direct negative impact on the operations of dairy processing companies in Artsakh, whose production volumes have gradually decreased by 6-8 times, and now they have completely ceased operations. This situation has also been exacerbated by the impossibility of importing essential milk powder and other technical materials needed for the processing process.
