ECHR Provides Information on Rashid Beglaryan Detained by Baku

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has conveyed information regarding Rashid Beglaryan, who was detained by Azerbaijani border guards, to the Armenian side. This information was confirmed in a conversation with Auroranews by the spokesperson for the representative on international legal matters, Hasmik Samvelyan.

"We have received documents, photographs, and information on the conditions of detention. We have until August 17 to submit objections and positions. The information has already been passed on to the relatives. The criminal charge is related to illegal border crossing," stated Samvelyan.

It is noteworthy that the ECHR had given Azerbaijan until August 10 to provide information regarding Rashid Beglaryan.
