Until 1918, Azerbaijan Was Not Even a Country: Serj Tankian Addresses Azerbaijanis

To all fascist Azerbaijanis who claim that Armenia is Azerbaijan: Your capital Baku is historic Armenia. This was stated by the internationally renowned Armenian rock musician and lead vocalist of System Of A Down, Serj Tankian, on his Twitter account.

“Until 1918, Azerbaijan was not even a country, and until January 1992, it was not an internationally recognized state. Artsakh declared its independence from the USSR in 1991. Thus, from a legal standpoint, Artsakh has never been part of Azerbaijan,” Tankian wrote.
