Lowest Death Rate in 20 Years Recorded in Armenia

In the first half of this year, Armenia recorded the lowest number of deaths in the same period over the last 20 years, totaling 12,472. This was announced by David Khachatryan, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, on his Facebook page.

“At the same time, the highest level of natural growth has been recorded since 2015, amounting to 4,467 people. For comparison:

• In 2022: 1,832 people
• In 2021: 846 people
• In 2020: 1,476 people
• In 2019: 2,297 people
• In 2018: 3,043 people
